George Owsley, 78, of Franklin, formerly of Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2023. Mr. Owsley was born in Webb City, Missouri on July 9, 1945, to the late Earnest and Pauline Owsley.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Owsley. In addition, he is survived by a son Joseph Owsley, of Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Ashley Price of Arizona, two grandsons, Isaiah, and Dylan Owsley of Pennsylvania; one great granddaughter, Marley Price of Arizona; two great grandsons, Adrien, and Lucca Price of Arizona; one stepdaughter, Michelle Glasson of Pennsylvania and one stepson, Michael Toner, also of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Owsley spent his career in shipping and logistics in the electronics industry. Before working, he served his country in Vietnam as a US Marine. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Stacie Owsley.

A Family Service will be held at a later date.
