Obituary
Furman Angel, Jr., 81, of Franklin, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Dr. Furman Angel and Louise Setser Angel. Furman retired from Macon County Schools where he worked as a mechanic for 27 years. He was a member of Mulberry United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anita Norton Angel; son, Furman Angel (Molly) of Fletcher, NC; and two grandsons, Grant Angel and Zac Angel.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Eric Henson will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
