Obituary
Frances R. Wood, 92, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Born in Haywood Co, she was the daughter of the late Glen Robinson and Avis Burnette Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee Wood. Frances owned Wood's Motel and volunteered at Angel Medical Center for many years.
She is survived by several cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2nd at First Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Brown and Rev. Jim Dusek will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel UMC Cemetery.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Michael Ramsey, Edward James, James Francis, Jay Francis, John Francis and Charles Burnette.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church, 69 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
