Frances Lorraine Seay Teague, 85, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024.
Frances was born on January 8, 1939, in Franklin to the late Arvey and Mary Williams Seay. She was the second youngest of eleven children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Teague; brothers, Lewis, John, Howard, Norman, Roger, and Clarence "Red"; sisters, Margie Stiwinter, Doris Evitt, Ella Mae Ledford, and infant sister, Mary Burdell.
She grew up in the Mashburn Branch community and attended Wells Grove Baptist Church. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1957. On October 25, 1958, she married her devoted husband, Victor Neville Teague and were happily married for over 60 years. They started a dairy business in the Ellijay community and continued to operate the family farm for over 40 years. She and Vic attended Higdonville Baptist Church for many years where she served as church clerk, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School.

She was a busy homemaker, providing countless delicious home cooked meals for family and friends over the years. She was an avid gardener, famous for the beautiful canna lilies that grew around their home. In her later years, she loved spending time with family and friends around the kitchen table and on her front porch, reminiscing of God's goodness over her life.
