Evelyn Irene Gregory, 86, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Evelyn was the daughter of the late Vance and Eva Springs Holbrook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Gregory; and son, Hoyt Gregory. She was a member of Snow Hill Methodist Church. Because she loved to crochet and knit, she taught her granddaughters. She loved baking, bird watching, looking at her flowers, and completing puzzles in the morning. She was the Matriarch of the family.

She is survived by her children, Sabrina "Sally" Gregory, Angie and Scott Cook; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, and the twenty first on the way.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9th, at Snow Hill Methodist Church from 1-2pm. A service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Randy Gregory will officiate.
