Eva Jane Pittman Williams, 104, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 1, 2025. Born on March 31, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George Pittman and Rachael Bailey Pittman.
Eva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Leon Williams, in 1966; her grandson, Anthony Williams Spaduzzi; and all eight of her siblings, of whom she was the last surviving.
In her younger years, Eva journeyed by Greyhound bus from Georgia to Florida, where she met Clarence, her soon-to-be husband. Over the course of her life, she held many occupations, including florist and employee at Rich’s Department Store. She was a woman of many talents and interests, enjoying reading, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. Eva attended Mt. Hope Baptist Church during her time in Franklin.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Spaduzzi McCauley; two grandsons, Paul Edward Spaduzzi (Linda M. Spaduzzi) and Charles Michael Spaduzzi (Carrie K. Spaduzzi); one Granddaughter in Law, KeriAnne Spaduzzi; and four great-grandchildren, Christian Bailey Spaduzzi, Brayden Christopher Spaduzzi, Alex William Spaduzzi, and Brianna Ellen Spaduzzi.
A visitation will be held at Macon Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Graveside services will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Friday, December 26th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
