Eric Victor Zinkand, born February 2, 1966, in Queens, New York, passed away leaving behind a legacy shaped by creativity, adventure, and hard work. Born to the late John and Eva Cardona Zinkand, Eric embraced life with a fearless spirit and a deep appreciation for every experience that came his way.

A true craftsman, Eric built his life with his hands and his heart. He owned and operated Mountain Home Construction, where his skill and dedication could be seen in every project he touched. His artistic side flourished as well was the founder and owner of Zink’s Custom Ink, where he expressed his creativity as a talented tattoo artist. Whether building homes or creating art, Eric poured passion into everything he did.

Eric is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his two children, Anthony Rizzo and Brittany Ferreyra; his six siblings, Tommy Zinkand, Linda Zinkand, Jay Zinkand, Roy Zinkand, Guy Zinkand, and Reba Zinkand; and his niece and nephew, Megan and Evan Murray; and three grandchildren, Izabella Rizzo, Aribella Rodriguez, and Audriana Ferreyra. His family, friends, and all who knew him will remember his adventurous spirit, his generosity, and the unmistakable spark he brought into every room.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
