Franklin, NC: Emily Katherine Potter went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord God on July 26, 2022. She was born in Charlestown, New Hampshire on December 30, 1940 to Caroline Howard and Gordon Henry Williams, both deceased. She is survived by her husband of over 56 Years, Ernest Fredrick Potter and a daughter, Caroline Woodruff Turley of Black Mountain, NC, and a son, David Richard Potter of Mt. Laurel, N.J. Also, she has two grandchildren, Dr. Alan van den Arend and Lauren Potter, both of Mt. Laurel, N.J. She was an avid reader of the Bible, books and magazines and was a wonderful cook. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Franklin, N.C. at a later date. Rev. David Beam will officiate.
