Elsie J. Luttrell, 95, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Franklin, NC, passed away April 23, 2014.

Born in Canton, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Luttrell. She was the second of seven children. She was a substitute school teacher and worked with the special education children. She devoted her time to teaching young people in bible classes where ever she lived.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Luttrell of St. Charles, MO and C.W. Luttrell of Ocala, FL; daughter, Brenda Rutherford of Knoxville, TN; sister, Frances Merritt of Canada; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. John Gurtler will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
