Eloise Tritt Johnson, 66, of Franklin, went home Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late William Lawrence Tritt and "Nanny" Gladys Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Johnson, Sr. and brother, Gearl Tritt. Eloise loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of New Martins Creek Baptist Church in Murphy, NC.

She is survived by daughter, Amanda Welch of Gainesville, GA; preceded grandson, Chris Johnson; granddaughter, Bridgette "Peanut" Hughes; two great grandchildren, Amanda and Miranda Keller; son, James Johnson and wife Amy of Winder, GA; grandchildren, Nicklous Johnson, Ansely Johnson and Aidan Johnson; sisters, Joan Keener Hicks and husband Bill of Franklin and Geraldine Tritt of Highlands; brothers, Terry Tritt and wife Penny of Anderson, SC and Charlie Tritt of Augusta, GA; Aunt, Sue Forrester and husband Jay of Highlands and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Hoyte Brown to lead and Rev. Mark Bishop to follow.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
