Donna Hooton Mason,70, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
She was born in Fremont, Nebraska on June 28, 1954. She graduated from Fremont High School. She moved to Franklin, North Carolina in 1972. Donna worked at the Sheriff's Department under Sheriff Hubert Bateman. She worked for the State of South Carolina at the Health Department.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years Jerry Mason. She has a sister Shelley Hooton of Franklin, A daughter, Carlene McCall (Matthew) of Franklin, a granddaughter Celsey Bolick (Justin) of South Carolina and a grandson, Anthony Gilliam (Alexis) also of Franklin and nieces and a nephew. She has faithful friends, Nicky and Cathy Thurmond and Kaye Cabe.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
