Donna Elaine Ballentine, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

She was born to the late James and Mary Steed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was the third oldest of five siblings. She was a mother of four, grandmother of five, and a great grandmother of one. She loved her family dearly. She loved the beach and the mountains. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, music, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Ballentine; sons, Chris Cosby (Tammy) of Franklin, Shawn Cosby of Carrollton, Ga, Jeffery Ballentine of Franklin; daughter, Ramana Andrews of Franklin; grandchildren, Katie, Amber, Jonathan, and Haily of Carrolton GA, Kristopher of Franklin, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later time.
