Diana Renner Lord, 70, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Born September 1, 1953, in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Orville and Dorothy Kelly Renner.
Diana and her husband made their home in Bainbridge, GA for 41 years before moving to Otto, NC 2 years ago. She worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse until her retirement in 2005.
Diana is survived by her husband of 49 years, William Scott Lord, Sr; son, William Scott Lord, Jr. (Andrea), daughter, Heather Colleen Walters (Seth) and daughter, Shannon Leigh Lord; grandchildren, Lawton, Nolan and Addison Lord and Luke, Ezra and Jack Walters; brothers, Orville Renner, Jr. (Linda) and Ralph Renner (Wendy) and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Coweeta Baptist Church in Otto, NC, Sunday, October 15, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Keith Ashe officiating. Burial will be in the Coweeta Baptist Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Mission Offering for International Missions c/o Coweeta Baptist Church.
