Deborah Anne Kennedy, 55, of Franklin went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2023.

Mrs. Kennedy was born on August 3, 1968, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Jack and Sue Ellen Jones, who survive her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Kennedy of nine years.

Deborah was of the Catholic Faith. She attended the University of Noth Carolina Charlotte, where she earned her BA degree in education. She was a teacher at Cherokee Central Schools for the last five years. She was an avid reader and liked to relax and watch TV. In addition, she loved to cook and spend time with family and friends. She will be missed by her family, friends, students, and all that knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 1:30 at the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:30 prior to the service.
