Daniel Cornelius Atkinson, 60, of Satsuma, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Born in Bennettsville, SC, he was the son of Nancy Cantrell Alexander of Franklin and the late Daniel C. Atkinson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step dad, Hoyt W. Alexander and a brother, John Atkinson. Daniel was a chef; he loved cooking and wood working and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, Nancy Alexander, he is survived by a daughter, Nancy Muehl and husband George; three brothers, Perry Atkinson of Ocala, FL, Terry Atkinson of Franklin and Kurt Knechtel of Dillard, GA; sister, Debbie Valdes of Satsuma, FL; three grandchildren, Brittany, Daniel and Zachary and several nieces and nephews.
