Timothy Dale Smiley, age 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Dale was born in Franklin to the late Reverend Roy Smiley and Gorde Bates Smiley. He had a loving and caring demeanor that led him to help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Gribble; and father in law, Michael Wood, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years whom he loved dearly, Michele Smiley; mother in law, Joyce Wood; brother in law, Michael Wood, Jr.; sister in law, Michelle Wood; and niece and nephew, Nicole Wood and Zachary Wood.

A celebration of Dale's life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home with his friend, Pastor Perrin Radley officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Because of Dale's love for animals, memorials may be directed to Appalachian Animal Rescue Center.
