Obituary
Constance Alice Barger, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Connie was a Florida native but called the Mountains of North Carolina home for over 35 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Freda Barger. Connie was an avid swimmer and attended the University of Florida where she studied pharmacy. She later worked as a pharmacist at Halifax Medical Center.
Connie loved all animals, but was most proud of her cats, Mama Kitty and Mr. Butters. She spent the last years of her life at Grandview Manor, taking care of them and making friends who became more like family. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
