Obituary

Clyde Reed Bowen, 71, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019.

Born in Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late Clyde and Helen Gilbert Bowen. Clyde loved his workshop and being outdoors. He enjoyed tinkering and working on projects; he was a metal artist and a vendor at craft shows for 10 years before retiring. He was an orthotist, where he met his wife, Maranee. He was a marine mechanic and landscaper. Clyde enjoyed camping and john-boating with his family, and riding Harley Davidsons with his wife.

In addition to his wife of 43 years, Maranee Johnson Bowen, he is survived by two daughters, Jessi Bowen of St. Pete Beach, FL and Jennifer Bowen of Palm Coast, FL; special canine companion, Tamale and three grandsons, Trevor, Aiden and Ridg Bowen.
