Obituary
Claude Ronald "Ron" Slayden, 84, of Otto, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Ron was born in Atlanta, GA, to the late William and Gussie McPherson Slayden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Slayden and sister, Claudia Jean Slayden. He moved to South Florida then Macon County, where he has lived for over 10 years. He loved fishing, collecting records, shooting, and flea marketing every weekend with his friend John.
He is survived by his children, Steven Slayden (Tina), Claudia Michelle Roydes (Bruce); and grandchildren, Zoe and Liam Slayden.
