Clarence Buddy "Bud" Styles, 92, from Franklin, NC walked into the arms of Jesus Monday, February 17, 2025.

He was born in Marion NC on November 16, 1932 to Ralph Ray and Addie Devue Sprinkle Styles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Bartee Styles, second wife, Barbara Reed Styles and sister Anne Styles Smith.

Bud lived most of his life in Asheville driving a truck for Pilot and Yellow freight. He recently moved to Franklin to be near his daughters. He is survived by his children, Libby Styles Cook (Tommy), Clarence Patrick Styles (Karen) and Laura Styles Wooten (Mike); step-daughter, Vanessa Gregorio; grandchildren, Amber Raby (Ryan), Rachel Waddell (Matt), Stephanie Cook Malcolm (Brad), Seth Wooten, Madison, Christopher, Corbin and Carter Gregorio. Great-grandchildren Reed and Ella Raby, Bailey and Charleigh Wooten, Tori and Savannah Melton, Sydney Waddell and Ronin and Atlas Malcolm; special niece and nephew Robin Edwards (Ben) and Michael Smith (Kelly).

Bud was a Godly man who loved his family and was the guiding light for us all. He was a member of Biltmore Church and Biltmore Masonic Lodge #446. He loved people and they loved him. He will be missed by many, but we know we will be with him again.
