Evelyn "Polly" Norris, 82 of Franklin, passed away on January 13, 2024.

She was born in Rabun County, GA to the late Claude and Ethel Holt on September 10, 1941. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, L.T. Norris; daughter Teresa Balcom, brother, Bob Holt; sisters Claudette Chastain, and Ruth Billingsley, daughter-in-law Kathy Norris, son-in-law Harley Wilson, as well as a great-grand daughter Cyrah Vess.

Evelyn was a member of Prentiss Church of God. She also loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She also loved Southern Gospel and Bluegrass music.

Evelyn is survived by daughter; Della Wilson of Franklin, sons; Ricky Norris, Jackie Norris (Mary) and Tim Norris (Hazel). Son-in-law Jon Balcom. Sister; Marie Carver (David). Fifteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 on Sunday, January 14, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:00am at the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Reverend Eddie Brewer will officiate. Burial will follow at Dryman's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Scott Wood, Hayden Wood, Matthew Norris, Logan Norris, Braylon Morrison, Kenny Pressley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Mbugua, Derrick Williams and Steven Williamson.
