Priscilla "Cilla" Lee Kirkland, age 40, of Franklin and Kingsland, passed away on March 13, 2025 following a lengthy battle with addiction.
Known to those who loved her as "Worm," she never met a stranger and enjoyed being the life of the party. Cilla was a hardworker and never met a roof she couldn't shingle. She had a great love for people and animals, and fought tirelessly for the underdog. Cilla found solace and joy in being outdoors- whether it be sliding through a mud hole, hunting for the next big rack, or baiting her hook.
Cilla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Jo Raulerson, Curtis Lee Johnson, and Selby Jean Ablard.
She is survived by her mother, Debbie Lee Johnson Collier of Franklin, NC; father, Preston Leslie Kirkland of Kingsland, GA; siblings, Jean Kirkland of Kingsland, Tyler Collier of Franklin, Steven Kirkland of Kingsland, Tiffany Gaspard of Wadley, Alabama, and Jessica Powell of Stuart, Florida; aunt and uncles, Crystal Lynn Evans of Ft. Pierce, Chris Evans, and Ray Kirkland (Barbara), both of Kingsland; and nieces and nephews, Ashlee Evans, Bubba Evans, Kymani Washington, Javan Kirkland, Micah Gaspard, Aidan Gaspard, Gracie Gaspard, Gabriel Gaspard, Adeline Trout, Malachi Trout, and Adriana Denham.
The family is planning a celebration of life service for Cilla's birthday in Kingsland on June 28. Please contact Jean for more information.
