Catherine Ann (Couture) Pruett (April 7, 1959–January 16, 2024) Catherine Ann (Couture) Pruett, 64, of Franklin, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on January 16, 2024, unexpectedly after a brief illness. She was born in Newark, N.J. to Anthony and Patricia Couture. Catherine graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia, before moving to North Carolina, where she married and raised her three children. Her true passion in life was the Lord followed by her love for her children, grandchildren, and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Anthony and Marion Couture and Harry and Catherine Sorensen and her mother Patricia Couture. Catherine is survived by her father Anthony Couture (Judy), brothers Kenneth Couture (Laura), Thomas Couture (Vickie), daughter Amanda Estes (Bryan), grandchildren Danny Estes and Julia Estes, and sons James A. Smith and John R. Smith (Karen) as well as one niece and several nephews.

A private family viewing and small service will be held on Saturday, January 20th, at 10 am at Macon Funeral Home in Franklin, NC. Burial will follow at Burningtown Baptist Church cemetery also in Franklin, NC.
