Obituary
Carole Crone, 84, of Franklin, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018.
Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell V. Newton and Mary Rachael Moore Newton. Carole was the founder of the Better Hearing Group and loved to bowl.
She is survived by her three children, Linda Elliott of Otto, NC, Steve Anderson of Dryden, MI, and Michael Anderson of Attica, MI; sister, Janice Brown of Madison Heights, MI; six grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 27, at Coweeta Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bud Haire will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Coweeta Baptist Church (Youth Program), 780 Coweeta Church Road, Otto, NC 28763 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
