Carol Holland Ashe, age 81, passed away on June 6, 2026, at her residence. Born on December 17, 1944, in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Illa Potts Holland.

Carol was a devoted member of Cullasaja Assembly of God, where she sang in the choir and lovingly cared for children in the nursery whenever she was able. She found joy in working in her yard, especially tending to her flowers and garden. Carol also cherished long conversations with her friends and treasured every moment spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; and her precious son, Jimmy.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Roy Ashe; two daughters, Sherry and Debbie; one step-daughter, Maria; two step-sons, Kenneth and Darrell; six siblings; five grandchildren; six step‑grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Cullasaja Assembly of God.
