W. Bryant Ledford, 98, of Franklin, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

He was the son of the late Zemry and Mamie Sanders Ledford. He was a Charter member of First Assembly of God of Franklin and current member of Franklin Church of God. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He was the founding owner of Ledford Grading. Most of all, he loved the Lord, and usually would be saying "Glory" with that big smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 59 years, Dorothy Cunningham Ledford; brothers, Dennis Ledford, Gene Ledford; sisters, Jeanette Williamson, Ruth Cowart, Ann Patterson, and Mildred Anderson.

Bryant is survived by his wife of 10 years, Dorothy Prasek Ledford; son, Randy Ledford (Kim); three grandchildren, Colton Ledford, McKinley Ledford, Trent Ledford; sisters, Sue Ramsay, Audrey Brabson, both of Franklin, Pat Lowe of Virginia Beach, Evelyn Tallent of Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, at 3pm at the Franklin Church of God. Reverends Mike Stephens, Mike Barres, and Tom Grubb will officiate. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1-3pm, two hours prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Joel Holland, Mark Foster, Tim Ledford, Rick Ledford, Gary Brabson, and Duane Brabson.
