In Loving Memory of Bradley Tyler Monteith
April 11, 2001 – June 5, 2025

With broken hearts, we announce the tragic and unexpected passing of Bradley Tyler Monteith on June 5, 2025, at just 24 years old. Bradley lost his life in a vehicle accident while on his way to work—doing what he always did: showing up with purpose and heart.

Born and raised in Franklin, NC, Bradley was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. He was a kind, intelligent, and generous young man, known for his genuine smile, quick wit, and a spirit full of love for others. His family, friends, and coworkers will remember him as someone who brought joy and warmth wherever he went.

Bradley took immense pride in his work at the Bi-Lo/Food Lion meat market, where he was more than just an employee—he was family. He approached every task with care and integrity, and his coworkers will always cherish his uplifting presence and unwavering dedication.

Outside of work, Bradley was passionate about basketball and video games, but nothing brought him more joy in recent months than working side-by-side with his dad, rebuilding his truck. It was more than a project—it was time shared, memories made, and a testament to his perseverance and love for family.

He deeply missed his beloved grandmother, June McClure, who preceded him in death. Her memory lived vividly in his heart and was a guiding light in his life.

Bradley is survived by his loving parents, April Stiwinter and her fiancé George Willis , and his father and stepmother, Adam and Amanda Monteith. He was a proud and caring brother to Leanah Monteith and Madison Jackson. He was also cherished and loved by a bonus mom Stephanie Paschall and a bonus sibling to Adrienne Mashburn and his step brothers Coleman Elders and Ethan Elders. He is survived by his grandparents, James and Kay Monteith of Sylva, and Dean Stiwinter of Franklin, along with his uncles, Levi Monteith and Craig Collier.

Bradley's laughter, adventurous soul, and deep love for those close to him will be forever missed but never forgotten. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the hearts that hold him.

A celebration of life will be held June 21, 2025, at Parker Meadows Pavilion from 1-4 pm for friends and family to pay respects and show support for the family and love for Bradley.
