Boyd Teem, 91, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, October 05, 2019.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Alfred Teem and Annie Frady Teem. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Bruce Wayne Teem. Boyd was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by three children, Vic Teem (Sherry) of Lincolnton, AL, Anita Lewis of Newborn, GA and Tracy Rowland of Franklin; sister, Eloise Smith of Social Circle, GA; brother, Harold Teem of Waterloo, Iowa; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, October 7 at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Moses, Ricky Moses, Tim Higdon, Heath Higdon, Jordan Moses and Denver Higdon.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Bud Moses.
