Bobby Lee Bolick, 82, of Franklin, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Macon County, Bobby was born to the late Carl and Eva Rogers Bolick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Willa Mae Bolick, Birdell Bolick, Edna Bowers (Joe), and Annalee Massagee (Ben); and by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd Bolick (Eloise), Willard Bolick (Karen), Ellard Bolick (Sylvia), and Odell Bolick.

Bobby was a faithful member of Cowee Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, usher, and active member of the men's ministry. Through the church, he helped build handicap ramps and deliver firewood to those in need. He loved serving others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bobby also enjoyed creating wood crafts for his family and friends, sharing his talent and craftsmanship with those he loved.

He dedicated 30 years of service to Duke Energy before his retirement.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Otela Holland Bolick; his children, Gregg Bolick (Wendy) and Pam Holland (Mark); his grandsons, Jacob Holland, Tyler Holden, and Tommy Holden; his brother, Marvin Bolick (Phyllis); his sister-in-law, Helen Bolick; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Cowee Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jason Smith and Rev. Chris Ciufo officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the ushers of Cowee Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Cowee Baptist Church.
