Bobby Lynn Allen, 59, of Franklin, passed away at his home on Friday, December 1, 2023, after a long illness.

He was born in Lee County, FL on January 31, 1964. He was the son of the late Bobby Silas Allen and the late Joyce Elizabeth DeVane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Allen. Bobby worked for Lee-Mar's for thirty-three years. He loved to fish, hunt and work on models.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Allen; two daughters, Elizabeth Pearson of Simpsonville, SC, and Sarah Guidry of Franklin, NC; one son, Bobby Lynn Allen, Jr of Franklin, NC; two son in-laws, Garry Pearson and Luis Pulido; four sisters, Loretta, Marietta, Brenda, and Dorothy; and two brothers, Carl and Tony.

In honoring Bobby's wishes there are no services planned.

Judy has stated, "He was my best friend, husband, caring father, and at times my "Dip Head". I hope they have plenty of chewing tobacco for him! He will be missed."
