William Robert "Bob" Ledford, 83, of Royston GA, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

Bob was born in Franklin, NC to the late Harlie and Nellie May Watts Ledford. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kate Speed, Rene Ledford, John Ledford, Jim Ledford, Mary Hodgin, Betty Daniels; infant siblings, Glenn Ledford, and Bessie Ledford. He worked in construction, was a painter, and his specialty was working in the interiors of homes. He was a member of Gillespie Chapel of Franklin and loved to trout fish.

He is survived by his son, Rick Ledford (Beth) of Chattanooga, TN; grandson, Bryce Ledford; sister, Linda Ledford of Danielsville, GA; his loving companion, Naomi Chastain, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, at 2pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Cloer and Rev. Randy Lucas will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm, one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #108 and VFW Post # 7399. Burial will be in the Gillespie Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Ledford, Dale Ledford, Keith Ledford, Kevin Ledford, Bryce Ledford, and David Treadway.
