Betty Ann Dryman Vinson, walked into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

She was born to the late Fred and Emma Hopkins Dryman in Macon County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Jean Owen, Beatrice Swabby, and Rowena Joyce. She was a member of Franklin Church of God and a very faithful Christian. She loved to garden, walk in the mountains, and most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Denver Vinson; children, Dexter Vinson (Debi), Wayne Vinson (Dawn) of Cleveland, GA, Angela Swafford (Louis), Beverly Nations (Michael) of Clyde, NC; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 2nd, from 11am-1pm at Franklin Church of God. The service will follow at 1pm. The Revs. Louis Swafford, Michael Nations, Tyler Nations, and Ricky Brewer will officiate. Burial will be in the Tessentee Church of God Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Young, Heath Vinson, Malachi Nations, Dustin Swafford, Jerimia Taylor, and Ben Vinson.
