Obituary
Betsy Ann Wanner Swanson, 56, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Duke University Hospital following a thirteen year battle with cancer.
Betsy was born in Neptune, New Jersey to David and Patricia Gunn Wanner. She attended St. Mary's Church. She loved shopping, exercising- especially walking. She was known for her sweet and sassy personality. But most of all her children were her world.
In addition to her parents, Betsy is survived by children, Blake Swanson of Largo, FL, and Brooke Swanson of Cullowhee, NC; brothers, David Wanner (Cathy), Scott Wanner, and her trusty cat, Travie.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12th, from 1-2pm at Macon Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm following the visitation in the Chapel.
