Obituary
Benny "Ben" Joe Crisp, 75, of Canton, GA, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013.
Born in Macon Co, NC, he was the son of the late Frank Washington Crisp and Edna Birdell Estes Crisp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Edgar Crisp and Floyd Thomas Crisp. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and loved to work outdoors. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Inez Ledbetter Crisp; daughter, Deborah Davidson of Franklin; son, Gary Lee Crisp of Canton, GA; brother, Carlos Crisp of Franklin; sister, Judith Crisp Houston of Franklin and granddaughter, Brittiney Gossett of Franklin.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
