Becky Holland Hope, 64, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on May 26, 2026. Born on March 13, 1962, in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Hayes Holland and Marie Lenoir Holland.

Becky, affectionately known as “Nana”, lived a life rooted in love, family, and simple joys. She cherished camping trips, country music, and any moment spent surrounded by those she loved.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, John R. Hope; her four sons, Eric Holland, Joseph Byron Hope, Kevin Michael Hope, and Travis Roy Hope; and her three sisters, Wanda Richey, Ramona Barreto (Ronald), and Karen Howett (Doug). Becky also leaves behind four grandchildren; Kelton Hope, Zachery Hope, Alexis Hope, and Kirstin Holland; and one great grandson, Greyson Lee Kresal, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held by the family privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that any memorial donations be made to Macon Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
