Barbara Ramsey Weston, formerly of Clayton, GA, affectionately known as Ms. Babs or Marmie, peacefully went to be with the lord in Highlands NC on June 2, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Moberly Missouri on October 7, 1937, to the late Robert (Bob) and Jane Babcock Ramsey. Babs spent a lifetime of touching hearts and inspiring kindness in everyone she met.

A beloved Head Start Teacher for more than 20 years, she shaped countless young lives instilling confidence and compassion with her wisdom, patience and genuine warmth. Known for her vibrant smile and boundless energy, Babs was always willing to lend a hand and share her faith.

Babs is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years Ronald Weston, her children Keith Holt (Sherry) Colleen Holt, Nanette Sanger (Sean) grandchildren Garrett Holt, Alexis Sanger Slaughter (Evan) and Andrew Sanger: great grandchildren Collins and Remy Slaughter.
Babs was a stepmom to Becky Akers (Ralph) and Ronald Weston Jr., grandchildren Ashley, Robbie, Andrew and Daniel Castello and Evan and Avery Weston.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 26th, at Rabun County Church of Christ at 11am. Refreshments will be served after the service.
