Barbara Jean Hopkins Weaver, 62, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Born in Macon County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Richard Hopkins Sr. and Marjorie Ella Collins Hopkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ronnie Ray Baldridge and Bruce Weaver; son, Bobby Wayne Hopkins; sisters, Mary Alice Hopkins, Betty Sue Hopkins, and Patsy Ann Holbrooks; and brothers, Gary Lee Hopkins, Howard Richard Hopkins Jr., Charles William Hopkins, Jerry Ray Hopkins, and Harold Dean Hopkins.
Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Hopkins (Lisa) of Lakemont, GA; four grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, Emily, and Gavin; two brothers, Randy Hopkins and Billy Hopkins, both of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Edith Sullivan (Gary) of Fletcher, NC, and Elaine Wilkie (Alan) of Fletcher, NC. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be 6pm on Saturday, May 13 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Brian Addis will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
