Barbara Joyce Holbrook Eastburn, age 73, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Bobbie Jo was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Major and Elizabeth Holbrook. She was a member of Cowee Baptist Church.

She loved working with her hands- spending countless hours crocheting, working in her flower beds, or penning a letter in her beautiful handwriting. She loved all of God's creations including animals and people- able to converse with anyone about random facts of knowledge. Bobbie Jo always had a kind and positive word for everyone she encountered; and her smile lit up a room.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Norman "Pete" Eastburn; three children, Noelle Jennings (David) of Franklin, Norman Harley Eastburn, Jr. (Mary) of Indiana, and Erin Eastburn of Franklin; five grandchildren; and numerous cousins and friends also survive.

The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date at Cowee Baptist Church.

Bobbie Jo's legacy of loving others will live on through her donation to Lifeshare. One tissue donor can impact hundreds of lives.
