Obituary
Audrey Kitchen Simpson, 94, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Born in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Eleanor Batt Kitchen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Simpson.
Mrs. Simpson was formally employed as a bookkeeper and was a faithful wife and mother. She attended First Alliance Church in Franklin.
She is survived by her children; Kathleen Shields (Andy), Diane Miller (Carter) both of Franklin, Laura Overton (Joe) of Florida and Glenn Simpson (Terry) of Leicester, NC. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren;43 great- grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 12 pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm, one hour prior to the service. Rev. Carter Miller will officiate.
