Audrey Hill Matthews, 86, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Halpin Hill and Rosalie Marie Wentzell Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Matthews; and two brothers, William H. Hill and George P. Hill. Audrey graduated from Miami Senior High School and retired from Miami-Dade Community College as the office manager of the audio-visual department. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

She is survived by six children, Audrey M. Li (Luis) of Maimi, FL, Ralph William "Bill" Matthews (Suzin) of Franklin, Elizabeth A. Carrier (Michael) of Miami, James E. Matthews (Laura) of Titusville, FL, Frederich M. Matthews (Lory) and Julie A. Chaplin both of Miami; one sister, Rosalie M. Elliott (E.B.) of Miami; one brother, Edwin J. Hill (Shirley) of Clarkesville, GA; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, September 11 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary Service will follow at 7 pm.
