Audrey Wass Cyphers, 79, of Winston Salem, NC, formerly of Franklin, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008.

A native of Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ida Smith Wass. Audrey was a homemaker and had also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Sylva and Berean Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Clifford E. Cyphers, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC; daughter, Linda Barbara Cyphers Sherwood and husband, George of Winston Salem; son, Clifford A. Cyphers and wife, Noreen of Franklin; three grandchildren, Brian S. Sherwood of Winston Salem, David M. Sherwood and wife, Tiffany and Joseph M. Cyphers, all of Franklin; and one great grandchild, Jackson R. Campbell of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 7, at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Benny Bagwell and Rev. Ron Baity will officiate. Burial will be in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cliff A. Cyphers, George Sherwood, Brian Sherwood, David Sherwood, Joseph Cyphers, and Michael Waters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
