Angelo "Angie" Ragsdale Fossick, 83, of Franklin, NC and Ft. McCoy, FL, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.

Born in Nashville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Homer Elmore Ragsdale and Nillar Omie Duty Ragsdale. Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Haley W. Fossick who died in 1980; two sons, Haley W. Fossick, Jr. and David Bruce Fossick; two brothers and two sisters. She was a manager for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1982. Angie was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America; past worthy matron from 1968-1969, Miami Chapter 141 OES; life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign War 10208; past president of the LAVFW10208; past district president of LAVFW District 22, FL; member of the Forest Bridge Club, Ocala, FL; and a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Salt Springs, FL.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Gann of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie Reeves and husband, Steve of Franklin; grandchildren, Shirley Schetrompf and Raymond Benson and wife Lenora of Jacksonville, FL, Steven Reeves and wife Patrice of Asheville, Ginny Ostrander and husband Matthew of Franklin, Sheri McCaffrey and husband Brian, Brian Fossick and Scott Fossick of Hilliard, FL; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.

Pallbearers will be Steven Reeves, Raymond Benson and Joshua Schetrompf.
