Altha Roberts Feneis, a resident of Franklin, North Carolina for 46 years, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Feneis Miller (John Miller) and Cindy Feneis Dills, both of Franklin; along with 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory Andrew Feneis and daughter, Sandra Feneis Merritt.

Altha was formerly an ER nurse for Angel Community Hospital in the 1980's and 90's, and held many professional certifications. During her career, she was well respected by her peers. After retirement, Altha enjoyed gardening and sewing, and she was an avid reader. She cherished visiting with her family and their get-togethers. Altha was of the Catholic faith.

At Altha's request, no public visitation will be held. A graveside service will take place Saturday, July 13th, at 12:15 P.M. in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
