Obituary
Allan Bryan Wilkes, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024.
Allan was the son of the late Herman and Ruth Tallent Wilkes. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Ellis Wilkes and Tami Robbins. He was a native of Macon County and was proud of his Cherokee Heritage. He loved people, especially those that were under appreciate. Allan liked cars, the Atlanta Braves, but most of all he loved Jesus.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elaine Wilkes; brother, Terry Wilkes (Lynda); aunts, Barbara Shuler, Kaye Houston, Jean Dills; brother-in-law, Eddie Robbins; several nephews and nieces and a special friend, Carol Gibson.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 21st at 2pm at the Wilkes Family Cemetery. Rev. Terry Wilkes will officiate.
