Alec H. Amoon, born August 7, 1968, in Miami, Florida, to the late Henry Anthony and Lutie Nolen Amoon, passed away at his residence on May 13, 2026.

Alec moved to the town of Franklin in the early 1990s, where he built a life rooted in the things he cherished most. He loved his children deeply and took great pride in watching them grow. He enjoyed quiet days spent fishing, had a deep affection for animals, and was a proud Florida Gators fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister‑in‑law, Sara Amoon. Alec is survived by his spouse, Caroline Amoon of Otto, NC; his two children, Ben and Lily Amoon of Otto, NC; and his brother, Edward Amoon of Charlotte, NC.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
