Obituary

Albert "Red" Henry Jones, 88, of Franklin, passed away at home on Thursday, February 6, 2014.

Born in Newburg, NY, he was the son of the late James A. Jones and Harriett DeWolf Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terence Jones and sister, Beverly Jones. Albert was a US Navy veteran and served during WWII. He worked as a carpenter most of his life and was Methodist by faith. "Red" loved to travel and had extensive files on where he had been and future plans.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Violet Thomas Jones; three children, Kathleen Jones of Delray Beach, FL, Susan McDowell and husband Bobby of Franklin and Michael Jones and wife Loren of Boca Raton, FL; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held in the United States National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
