Adele Wassenberg, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Adele was born in Sutton, Massachusetts to the late Adelard Renaud and Viola Potter Renaud. She worked in hurricane response for the state of Florida Emergency Management. It was during her time in Florida that David fell in with Adele's "Boston accent" while he was vacationing there, and they would spend the next 33 years together. After retirement, she enjoyed crafting as well as word games and puzzles on the computer.

Adele had the type of personality that lit up any room she entered, and that same personality ensured that she never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step son whom she loved dearly, Tracy Wassenberg.

Adele is survived by her husband, David Wassenberg; children, Lori, John, Deborah, and Scott; two grandchildren, Michael and Nicole; five great grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers, Jim and Ken; and sister, Diane. She is also survived by David's family who adored her, two stepchildren, Patrick and Elizabeth; daughter in law, Melissa; and five step grandchildren.
