Obituary for William Carl Johnson
William Carl Johnson, 59, of Franklin, passed away January 14, 2008.
Born in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Carl Ray Johnson and Katherine Hansbury Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Johnson. Will was a U.S. Navy veteran; senior vice commander and life member of the VFW Post 7339; member of the American Legion Post 108 and past member of the funeral detail.
He is survived by two sons, Adam Johnson and wife Elizabeth and Eric Wright both of Franklin; sister, Kathy Witham of New Tazewell, TN; and granddaughter, Kaydence Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108 will conduct military rites.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
