Obituary for Violet Warner (Postell)

Violet Postell Warner, 76, of Franklin, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006.

A native of Andrews, NC, she was the daughter of the late Delores Postell. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Phil Warner who died in 1987. She was a homemaker, a member of Red Marble Baptist Church in Topton, NC, but attended Cowee Baptist Church in Franklin, NC.

She is survived by one daughter, Abigail Braswell and husband, Arnie of Franklin; two sisters and one brother; two grandchildren, A. J. and Drew Braswell; several nieces and nephews; and two best friends, Laura Knight and Zella Sutherland.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd Fish will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 11, at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cowee Baptist Church Library Fund, 6301 Bryson City Road, Franklin, NC 28734.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
