Victor John Rasky, 63, of Franklin, and formerly of Miami, FL, entered into rest Sunday, August 21, 2005.

A native of Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank Rasky and Ethel Liszkai Rasky. Mr. Rasky served 30 years in the US Air Force, retiring as Chief Site Manager. He was a member of VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108; and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are one son, Victor J. Rasky, Jr. and wife Deanna of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Roger Rasky and wife Rachael of Ocala, FL, and Ted Rasky and wife Betty of Gainsville, FL; three sisters, Olga R. Causey and husband D.L. of Franklin, Bea Overly and husband David of Hollywood, FL, and Linda Blount and husband Phil of West Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 26, in the Chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate Burial will be in the Black Mountain Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744.
